Idea Sketch

Sample image

Got an idea? Quickly sketch it out as a diagram and then view it as an outline, or vice-versa. No drawing required, just enter your text and move the shapes around, Idea Sketch handles the rest.

Visualize

Idea Sketch lets you easily draw a diagram - mind map, concept map, or flow chart - and convert it to a text outline, and vice versa. You can use Idea Sketch for anything, such as brainstorming new ideas, illustrating concepts, making lists and outlines, planning presentations, creating organizational charts, and more!

Create

Copy text from another app, such as an email, document, or web page, and import it into Idea Sketch to automatically create an idea that can be viewed as both a diagram and outline.

Share

Diagrams and outlines can be easily shared via email or Box.com and copied directly into other apps. Diagrams can also be saved to the Photos app (to sync to your desktop) or uploaded to Facebook.

Get It All

The app is free and fully functional without any limitations or advertisements. Additional features are available through an optional in-app purchase: folder organization, 4 more shapes, 4 more color themes (each with 5 color choices), 5 more fonts, high-quality PDF diagrams (ideal for printing), and edit diagrams on a Mac or PC desktop using any software that supports the VDX file format such as OmniGraffle and Visio.

A Short History

Nosleep Software was started in 1999 pioneering some of the very first educational apps for mobile devices. Early Palm OS apps FileZ, Due Yesterday, Idea Pad, and QuizWiz were wildly popular and are still used to this day. In 2008 we switched to creating apps for iPhones and iPads. Nosleep Software is licensed in the state of Washington in the United States.
